Concord – On Tuesday February 3rd at 7:00 pm, UNH English Professor Douglas Lanier will speak in the NHTI Library Living Room as part of the college's Wings of Knowledge lecture series. Professor Lanier will explain how and why it is that William Shakespeare - perhaps more than any other major literary figure - is alluded to or adapted in so many ways, and for so many different audiences. Enjoy a fun evening of the Bard, Star Trek, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and hip-hop. Launched in 2001-02, Wings of Knowledge is an annual series of cultural events sponsored by the NHTI Forum. The series supports and expands upon NHTI's wide variety of academic offerings, and is another element in the college's expanding community college mission.
