Concord – At a luncheon meeting held at the Grappone Conference Center on Thursday June 2, the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce presented NHTI President Lynn Kilchenstein with its Business Leader of the Year Award.
This award is one of four Pinnacle Awards presented annually by the Chamber to recognize local businesses and individuals who have demonstrated professional excellence and commitment to the Chamber and the community. Other honorees included the accounting firm of Mason + Rich (Small Business of the Year), the Concord Family YMCA (Non-profit Business of the Year), and Franklin Savings Bank (Business of the Year).
President Kilchenstein was recognized not only for her work at NHTI, but also for her leadership role with many other local nonprofit arts and civic organizations including Red River Theatres, the Capital Center for the Arts, and the S.N.O.B. Film Festival.
NHTI, Concord's Community College, is a fully accredited, public community college serving students, businesses and the community by providing excellent academic, technical and professional education. NHTI offers over 60 academic programs to more than 4,500 students. NHTI is a member of the Community College System of New Hampshire.
