Information Night for Education

Concord – NHTI will hold an Information Night on Monday April 20th for those interested in obtaining a degree or certificate in Education. NHTI offers three programs in education:

  • Associate of Science in Education Degree - a two-year program which prepares graduates to be paraeducators, or to transfer their credits to baccalaureate degree-granting institutions to pursue a career in teaching or counseling.

  • Education Certificate Program - a one-year program which allows students the option of taking the core education curriculum in the late afternoon/early evening. Graduates may then transfer to the Associate in Science in Education program, or to a baccalaureate program in education.

  • Special Education Certificate Program - designed for:

    • people interested in exploring careers in special education;
    • current paraeducators looking to enhance their skills and possibly move toward degrees in regular or special education;
    • current teachers seeking professional development skills related to working with children with special needs.
