Concord – In March 2010, NHTI will be offering a 10-day travel/study abroad experience in Costa Rica. The Spring Adventure in Costa Rica is not only a feast for the senses, but a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in another culture and to get to know the people who work hard to conserve and protect their unique environment. For those who wish to earn college credit, it can also be taken as a component of NHTI's 4 credit, online Tropical Ecology and Conservation course (Biology 180). This 10 day adventure is open to any and all interested students or adult travelers. For anyone interested in learning more, an Information Night will be held on October 1st from 5:30 - 7:00 pm in NHTI's Sweeney Auditorium. A presentation will be given outlining the itinerary, costs and requirements of the trip and the BI 180 course, with staff available to answer questions. This event is free and open to the public.
