Concord – NHTI's Business Training Center is offering two new workshops in June, of interest to nurses and caregivers of all kinds. One focuses on children with autism spectrum disorders, the other on the challenges of caring for patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Recovering our Children's Health: Exploring Healing of Autism Spectrum Disorders
Drawing on her conventional Western medical training, combined with experience in complementary health practices, Dr. Tallman Ruhm is helping families and individuals who suffer from symptoms consistent with autism spectrum disorders including ADD/ADHD. Her work reflects the belief that our bodies are designed to heal, and that their capacity to function or recover depends on their unique ability to access and utilize important nutrients and to detoxify or eliminate materials that are potentially harmful.
