- be able to meet deadlines as set forth in the course;
- be able to learn on your own;
- be able to manage your time;

Distance Learning Courses
- Distance learning courses require a fewer number of class meetings.
- Many distance learning courses use Blackboard™, a virtual classroom.
- Distance learning provides a flexible alternative to the traditional classroom. Successful students are self-directed and disciplined.
- Download and print a list of Summer 2008 Distance Learning Courses in PDF or have a copy mailed.
- Many courses require prerequisites; check our website or catalog for course descriptions and prerequisites.
100% Online Courses
- Online courses do not have an on-campus meeting requirement.
- Students communicate with their professor and classmates by using Blackboard™ or Course Compass.
- Online courses are ideal for disciplined students that need a flexible class schedule.
- Students should be aware that their instructor may require student participation in the course chat room at specified times. All course material and requirements are available on the course’s website.
- To determine if on-line learning is for you take this on-line self evaluation created by the Illinois Online Network: http://www.ion.uillinois.edu/resources/tutorials/
pedagogy/selfEval.asp. - For a list of 100% Online Courses visit http://www.ccsnh.edu/distancelearning/index.htm.
- Please register with the campus listed for each online course that is being offered. An OnLine registration form can be downloaded at www.ccsnh.edu.
- Please note: The course credits you receive may be transferable from one CCSNH institution to another, but not the letter grade. It will be treated as a transfer credit, and must be a “C” or better.
