Kristina Lucas, Adjunct Professor of English at NHTI, teaches Communications, Composition, and Literature in the classroom and through online courses,. She’s been published as a travel writer and has worked as an Editor for several colleagues’ publications. Kris’s career began with Procter and Gamble, and she trained dental sales representatives for Kerr and Dental Research.
Kris has served as a mentor to Running Start teachers and new adjuncts, as an Academic Advisor and a Writing Coach at the NHTI Writing Center, as a volunteer for local Community Service organizations, as President of the PTO and Junior Service League, and on the board of the NH Humanities Council.
As a life-long learner, having earned a B.A. from the University of Iowa and an M.A. from the University of New Hampshire, she brings a mindful approach and an engaging collaborative teaching style to the practice of writing. Her focus is on Assessment- Attention-Awareness.
Since every single document written is a reflection of your organization and its employees, these five online sessions will focus on building skills for more professional results. In a series of collaborative workshops and online discussions, participants will practice successful composing and proofreading strategies to perfect content, organization, grammar, usage, punctuation, and sentence structure in their writing.
