Preschool Long Term Projects Slideshow

From time to time, when there is prolonged or intense interest, the preschool children may engage in long term projects. These may last from three weeks to three months, depending upon the many tangents that a project may take. This mapping project, for instance, lasted for several weeks and began with the children making treasure maps during play. From there, the children mapped their room, the playground, their faces, hands and feet, their families, and finally made a map to the Three Bears' House. ']
