“Working in this setting is a dream come true. I love spending time in the classroom to support teachers with observations and documentation they may be working on. I also enjoy forming relationships with the children and families that are enrolled in the program. I believe when the director is visible to families, it creates an open relationship that creates a whole community.”

Lori Warner, Curriculum Coordinator and Assistant Director, has 10 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. She holds an Associates' degree in ECE from NHTI. Contact Ms. Lori at .

“Teachers who are passionate about how children think and learn create this high quality environment for young children. I am proud to be a part of this dynamic team who are not afraid to take risks, think deeply about their practices, and form authentic learning experiences for all children.”

Each classroom has a team of teachers comprised of a full-time Lead Teacher and a full-time Assistant Teacher. There are also two or more additional part-time assistant teachers, aides or student interns. There are a minimum of three teachers in each classroom.

Throughout the school year, several ECE student teachers come to CFDC to gain hands-on teaching experience. In the first phase of their training these students spend three hours a week in the classroom. Later on they may be placed with us for a "practicum" requiring 150 hours of classroom time per semester. They work under the supervision of the seasoned teachers in the classroom, implementing activities, learning to interact in a meaningful and supportive manner, and connecting theory to practice.

In addition, we employ Work Study students, who fill an important role as teachers' support. Usually they are also in the ECE program, but we also enjoy working with students from the Nursing and Human Services departments.
