NHTI Child and Family Development Center
Accreditation

In July, 2005, the Child and Family Development Center (CFDC) at NHTI earned accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the nation's leading organization of early childhood professionals. The CFDC became only the ninth child care center in the greater Concord area to receive the prestigious accreditation, which followed an exhaustive self-study and an observation visit by a team of independent, professional validators.

Since 2005 when we first received Accreditation from NAEYC, we have maintained this standard of high quality. Being Accredited represents that every aspect of curriculum, physical environment, staff qualifications, and relationships with parents have been deemed high quality" "Through the accreditation, the CFDC has become a leader in a national effort to raise the quality of early childhood education, and to help give all children a better start," according to Dr. Mark Ginsberg, executive Director of NAEYC.

The CFDC at NHTI opened its doors in 2001, and began the accreditation application process in 2003, when it first became eligible.
