Dr. Goldie Crocker Wellness Center Mission Statement

The Dr. Goldie Crocker Wellness Center is a primary congregate site on the campus of NHTI. We provide a positive, friendly environment that fosters the opportunity for members of the campus community to participate in activities and programs that promote emotional, intellectual, occupational, physical, social and spiritual development.

In conjunction with the NHTI Mission, the Dr. Goldie Crocker Wellness Center is dedicated to empower students, faculty and staff to make choices toward a more pro-active, responsible and healthy existence. We commit our efforts toward promoting an environment, which includes the following:

• Promoting a user friendly, non-threatening and comfortable environment.
• Fostering a spirit of community.
• Enhancing mental, physical and emotional equilibrium.
• Responding to needs of recruitment and retention of a diverse population.
• Providing leisure education to enhance personal development.
