Hepatitis B Vaccine Series Policy
Vaccination against Hepatitis B is required for all students in the following programs:
- Dental Assisting
- Dental Hygiene
- Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Early Childhood Education
- Human Services
- Nursing
- Orthopaedic Technology
- Paramedic Emergency Medicine
- Radiation Therapy
- Radiologic Technology
A student has the right to decline the Hepatitis B vaccinations. He/she may do so by signing a release form at the Health Services Office. STUDENTS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO START THEIR CLINICAL EXPERIENCE UNTIL THEY HAVE EITHER COMPLETED OR STARTED THE HEPATITIS B VACCINE SERIES OR HAVE SIGNED A RELEASE FORM.
