Athletics Department Mission Statement
The Athletic Department is committed to the ideals in the New Hampshire Technical Institute Mission Statement. In support of those ideals, the department seeks to:
- Administer and coach intercollegiate athletics in accordance with the ethical standards of honesty and sportsmanship;
- Represent the honor and dignity of fair play and the spirit of wholesome competitive sports;
- Recruit, retain and graduate student athletes of exemplary academic and athletic ability;
- Conduct programs in a manner designed to protect and enhance the physical and educational welfare of student athletes;
- Establish and maintain an environment that values cultural and gender equity;
- Attempt to consistently field teams that are competitive within our designated conferences;
- Develop an athletic program, which serves as a model for others.
- Strive to create a student athlete whose contributions will extend beyond the playing fields, into the classroom, the college, and the larger community.
