Steve Ambra, Head Coach

Steve Ambra is a graduate of MacMurray College (1972/BA) Governor's State University 1974/MA) Simmons College (1995/MS), and Franklin Pierce Law Center (1980/JD) and has been the architect of the NHTI women's soccer team from the beginning of the program in 2000. Coach Ambra has recruited and developed the players wearing the Lynx maroon and white finishing as the top small college team in New England from 2001-2006, 2008 and 2010.
Melissa Warner Carter, Assistant Coach

Melissa Warner Carter is a 2007 graduate of NHTI in the Dental Assisting and Health Science Programs. A 2007 USCAA All-American and Academic All-American, Melissa was also the 2007-08 co-recipient of the NHTI Outstanding Female Athlete award. In addition to being the soccer team's captain she was a 2006 USCAA All-American and 2005 Honorable Mention All-American; 2005 USCAA All-Tournament team; 2007, 2006 & 2005 YSCC All-Conference Team and 2005 YSCC Tournament MVP. In high school, she was captain of the Hopkinton High School team that won the state championship and was a 4 year Scholar-Athlete.
Carl “Hap” Granquist, Assistant Coach
Carl “Hap” Granquist is a 1969 graduate of Ricker College in Houlton, Maine. In his playing days, Hap captained the Ricker College baseball and soccer teams during a fine four year college career. Over the past decade, Hap has coached many different soccer programs including the Manchester Angels Soccer, Trinity High School and Wilton-Lyndeboro High School.
Cara Dolan, Assistant Coach

Cara Dolan is a 2007 General Studies graduate of NHTI and a 2010 graduate of Lyndon State College in Human Services. An outstanding outside midfielder Cara was a key player on the NHTI championship teams of 2005 through 2006. An unselfish player, as a top scorer she always had more assists than goals in her career at NHTI. An All-Tournament team player for NHTI in 2006, Cara is a graduate of Bishop Brady High School.
