Tom Walton, Head Coach

Tom Walton is a graduate of Hawthorne College (B.A./1971) and Rivier College (MA/1972). 2009 marks Tom's fourth season as NHTI X-C Head Coach. A noted certified personal trainer and very successful high school coach, Walton brings a wealth of experience and energy to the NHTI campus. His reputation in New Hampshire running circles is well known. Tom is also an avid marathon canoe racer. He was named United States Canoe Association Paddler of the Year in 2007. Tom also teaches health science courses at NHTI.
Perry Seagroves, Assistant Coach

Perry Seagroves is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire (B.S.) and the University of New England (M.S.). He joined NHTI as a professor of Physics and Chemistry in 1985. Seagroves has been a competitive runner for 25 years, and a coach of youth sports in basketball, baseball, and soccer. He also coached NHTI club hockey. He is also responsible for organizing and coaching NHTI's Running Club.
Beth Wilkes, Assistant Coach

Beth Wilkes is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross (B.S.) and the University of S. Carolina (M.S.). She joined NHTI as a professor of Biology in 1993. Beth has been a runner for 25 years and a participant in a wide variety of team sports. She looks forward to supporting and expanding the NHTI women's Cross Country team.
