Women's Cross Country

NHTI X-C is now firmly entrenched in the Yankee Small College Conference as well as the United States Collegiate Athletic Association. NHTI X-C is nearly undefeated in Yankee Conference Championship meets. Heather Ann Searles (Henniker) won the 2008 USCAA Women's Championship race at Southern Virginia University. She is NHTI's first individual national champion in any sport. Heather was also named to All-Academic and All-American honors three years in succession. During four years of varsity competition NHTI X-C has produced 11 USCAA All-Academic Team Members. Coach Tom Walton, Coach Perry Seagroves, and Coach Trish Pruiksma look forward to the 2010 fall X-C season while continuing to offer the NHTI Spring Running Club, which basically provides running opportunities all year long at NHTI. In 2009, NHTI was the host site for the USCAA Cross Country National Championship. NHTI will once again host the USCAA Cross Country Nationals in 2010.
