Under the direction of Head Coach Shelley Winters and Assistant Coach Curt Martin the Lynx have quickly built a fun and winning tradition. Since their arrival, the women's team has won over 70% of their games. The Lynx tough-nosed defense and quick tempo of play has paid dividends as they captured conference titles in 2004, 2005, 2006 & 2007, participated in five USCAA National Tournaments, and garnered a growing fan base. Over the last six seasons several Lynx have received national and regional awards for their contributions. NHTI has produced 7 USCAA All-Americans including Melissa Gravilla (Andover, NH), Katherine Little (Concord, NH), Lauren Daniels (Concord, NH) and Jen Roy (Manchester, NH). NHTI has also produced USCAA Academic All-Americans including Liz Samson (Lancaster, NH), Allison Hickey (Groveton, NH) and Christen Peak (New Boston, NH). |
The 08-09 season for the Lynx was a rebuliding one, as they finished with a 13-16 overall record. NHTI lost in the semi-final's round of the YSCC final four. Meagan Pennock (Littleton) was named a YSCC All Conference player. The 09-10 campaign should be a good one for the Lynx as a good majority of the team appears as to be returning. | |
