Welcome to NHTI Campus/Community News

Campus/Community Events - September 11th Rememberance Service, Wheelchair Basketball, Annual Wellness Fair NHTI is Concord's Community College, and that means we value our close ties with the Greater Concord Area and New Hampshire. We have many public events on our campus, and we estimate that about 60,000 members of the general public visit the campus annually to attend or participate in these events. They vary widely, including our Friday Night at the Movies, the annual Somewhat North of Boston (S.N.O.B.) Film Festival, the performances of our Drama Club, and our Wings of Knowledge lecture series. Our intercollegiate athletic teams welcome the public to the excitement of competition throughout the fall and spring semesters. Our Dental Hygiene students perform supervised dental cleanings and other services to hundreds of area residents in our state-of-the-art dental hygiene clinic. Many other campus events, including our annual Convocation, Wellness Fair, workshops and special speaker appearances, are open to the public. The NHTI library is also open to the general public, and its lobby hosts monthly exhibits by a variety of New Hampshire artists.

In addition, NHTI hosts many events for organizations and groups outside the college. These include the annual Kiwanis Club of Concord Classic Car Show, the Governor's Conference on Volunteerism, and the NH College and University Tobacco Summit. Our athletic fields and the Goldie Crocker Wellness Center gymnasium host youth soccer through the Concord Express, as well as summer camps. Our facilities are open for public rental subject to availability, and we welcome inquiries.

We hope you will be one of the thousands of visitors to the NHTI campus this year!
