A Message from the Student Senate President

Chad Johnson, NHTI Student Senate President

Welcome to NHTI, Concord's Community College

Hello!

My name is Chad Johnson and I'm the President of Student Senate. I want to thank you for taking the time to visit our website and welcome you to the NHTI community. Whether you are a returning student or a new one just starting out, this is the place to be. With our consistently populated Student Center and over 30 different clubs and organizations on campus, there is something for everyone and always plenty to do.

I encourage all students to get involved on campus in some way; I know first-hand how directly beneficial it will be to your success here. Get connected; it will give you the support you need and make your time here so much more enjoyable. Your years at college can be some of the best ones of your life, but it's up to you take what you want out of it.

College can be a lot of fun, but that is just a small aspect of it. It would behoove you to always remember the “why” of being here: to get an education. Always place your academics first and concentrate on your school work. NHTI has some of the most unique and rigorous programs around that require a lot of effort and time, but it is worth the commitment. There are so many incredible opportunities available to everyone here at NHTI, but it's all up to you to decide what you really want. Take your time here seriously, put in the required effort, get connected, and then reap the rewards.

I look forward to getting to know all of you and hearing about your success at NHTI!

Sincerely,
   Chad Johnson
   Student Senate President
