Solidworks

James Rand is one of few Certified SolidWorks Professionals in the State of New Hampshire. He has twenty-five years CAD experience designing capital equipment in a manufacturing environment. This experience includes: ten years as product designer using SolidWorks, twelve years of CAD experience designing semi-conductor vacuum equipment, three years designing aerospace equipment and six years design and drafting utilizing AutoCAD R13 through 2008. He is experienced in design and detailing of assemblies, fixtures, machined components, weldments, complex sheet metal designs and hydraulic/pneumatic and electrical schematics. He has also been a technical illustrator of various publications used on nuclear submarines.

SolidWorks
This course presents concepts central to the use of SolidWorks. Participants will become familiar with the SolidWorks user interface, feature manager, sketching tools, and various modeling techniques. It will also include configurations, in-context part/assembly modeling and editing, sheet metal design, tips and tricks and more.
Prerequisites: It is recommended that participants possess fundamental knowledge of PC based computer systems, Windows® operating system, knowledge of drafting and mechanical design experience.

Microsoft ASP.NET Web Application Development
This introductory web application class will provide a first look at Active Server Pages.NET using the latest Microsoft Visual Web Development platform, ASP.NET, C#.NET and SQL Server relational databases. Participants will develop a commercial web site with Public and Private Master Pages, user login, administration pages, and a simple shopping cart. Designed for participants with some web application development and programming experience who want to become familiar with the ASP.NET framework.
