This outstanding, 15 day China program offers a unique educational and cultural experience combining study at Tongji University in Shanghai, on-site healthcare visits and a chance to explore China's world-famous historical sites including:
- The Great Wall
- Tiananmen Square
- Forbidden City's Imperial Palace
- Ming Tombs
- The Bund
In addition to touring with an experienced local guide and an NHTI escort, participants may attend lectures, presentations, and workshops, immersing in a combination of unforgettable educational and cultural experiences designed to enhance their understanding of the healthcare culture in China.
- The "Learn it in One Day" Acupressure Workshop
Back by popular demand, this class teaches a specific acupressure protocol, SEVA/Stress, which can be used for a wide range of needs including general relaxation and well being or extreme shock and stress. Participants will learn this simple but effective intervention using this unique touch method. The class incorporates various key acupoints and chakra tai chi with demonstration and hands-on practice. Please wear comfortable clothing.

Speaker Bio: We welcome as distinguished faculty Dr.
Linda Caputi, MSN, Ed.D., RN, CNE. Dr. Caputi has authored over 25 educational
multimedia programs and several nursing education books, produced and
developed videotapes, and published book chapters and journal articles. She
has won numerous awards and has presented at over 100 conferences and
workshops. She has consulted with schools of nursing in the areas of
curriculum design, faculty development, and increasing NCLEX scores. She
was acknowledged for teaching excellence in the 1998, 2002, and 2005
editions of Who's Who Among America's Teachers. She was named Educator of
the Year for 2004 by the National Organization of Associate Degree
Nursing. She is on the editorial staff for Advance for Nurses and serves on
the Board of Governors for the National League for Nursing. She is a
Professor of Nursing at College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois and has
taught nursing for over 27 years.

Oral Care Issues in Nursing: Keeping the Mouth Connected to the Body
