Sandra Beliveau is the Clinical Coordinator of the Radiology program at NHTI, Concord’s Community College in Concord, NH. She has been a clinical educator for over 30 years and has taught clinical and teaching techniques to numerous students, hospital staff and fellow educators throughout New England. Sandy coordinates student education in 22 hospitals throughout New Hampshire, VT and Massachusetts. She has developed policies and procedure in clinical education and created various forms for evaluations and documentation. Sandra received the Community College System’s Commissioner’s Award for Teaching Excellence in Clinical Education.

Our professional development series has been well attended by Imagers and Nursing professionals throughout the state. We will continue to provide excellence in education by providing courses that will enhance your skills and allow you the opportunity to advance into other modalities.

We are excited to offer our NEW Clinical Education Certificate in October. This program will provide all clinical educators an avenue to expand their knowledge in the clinical practice of supervising students. We have also added a certificate option to our Teaching Series adding such topics as adult learning theory, the use of technology in the classroom and classroom management.

With the looming CQ/2011 requirements, we will provide the CT Registry Review. The Mammography Series will occur during the fall months and we are pleased to introduce a PACS Administration class. We will continue to offer our Career Path and Image Interpretation seminars as well as other distinguished imaging lectures.

Thanks to all of you who have supported the Imaging Professional Development program in New Hampshire!
