Front Line Manager's Certificate

Fred King, MBA, Faculty – NHTI, Business Administration Department
The lead trainer for this project is Fred King. Fred has spent 26 years in divisions of Fortune 100 companies, equally divided between leading business units and managing human resource departments. Fred’s career began on the factory floor in industrial engineering, factory scheduling and managing production departments, and went on to include executive-level positions in retail service and wholesale distribution. He is currently a full-time professor in NHTI’s Business Associate’s degree program and works with the Business Training Center.

Marty Hunt, Faculty - NHTI, Business Administration Department
Marty spent 13 years in the commercial banking industry before joining NHTI. Marty currently serves as the Department Chair for the Business Management programs. She also serves on various Community Boards and holds professional memberships in many business related organizations. Marty was awarded the Commissioner’s Award for Teaching Excellence in 2003 and specializes in Management/Supervision and Organizational Behavior.

The managerial responsibilities of today's supervisor continue to evolve as companies compete in this fast moving business environment. To be successful, front-line managers must master a diverse set of technical, human relations and conceptual skills.
