Dental Radiology for Dental Assisting (DN 105)

On-line lectures and learning activities coordinated with laboratory practice to develop dental radiographic techniques. Students are required to schedule two clients. Techniques covered include: digital radiography, processing, mounting and evaluating films. Emphasis placed on client and operator protection, exposure and processing errors, asepsis protocol, radiographic techniques and equipment function. Following this course, passing of RHS portion of DANB exam is required according to NH law. Prerequisites and required documents: Completion of the POI course and proof of liability insurance.
