Legal Nurse Consultant Certificate Program

The Legal Nurse Consultant Certificate program is approved by the American Bar Association (ABA) and is designed to prepare students to perform effectively in today’s legal and healthcare communities. Designed for experienced Registered Nurses who are interested in combining their clinical expertise with specialized legal knowledge enabling them to serve as consultants and liaisons to the legal and healthcare profession.  For specific admission requirements go to:

Betty Bogdan, Coordinator, Center for Nursing Professional DevelopmentBette Bogdan, MSN, RN-BC, CCM, Coordinator, Center for Nursing Professional Development.  Bette began her nursing career in the NH Community College system, earning her Practical Nursing Diploma at what is now Great Bay Community College in Stratham in 1983, and her ADN here at NHTI in 1985.  She went on to receive a BSN from Regis University in Denver, CO, in 2009, and an MSN from American Sentinel University in 2012, graduating Summa cum Laude from both institutions.

Her 30-year career has spanned the country, and encompassed a wide range of disciplines, from orthopaedics and obstetrics and to cardiac and wound care.  She has been certified  in case management, chemotherapy, long term care, and legal nurse consulting among many other fields.  Teaching has also been an integral part of her practice; most recently she was employed as nursing faculty at the Salter School of Nursing in Manchester, NH.

Accreditation Information: The Center for Nursing Professional Development at NHTI, Concord's Community College is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the New Hampshire Nurses' Association Commission on Continuing Education, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
