Readmissions

When applying for readmission, students must meet current entrance requirements for the desired program. Upon readmission, students will follow the curriculum published in the current catalog. However, any common courses will be carried forward and every attempt will be made to make appropriate substitutions when previous courses have been replaced with updated ones. In order to approve a substitution, the Department Head will make a recommendation to the Vice President of Academic Affairs who will make the final decision.

Students who have been absent for more than three semesters will be delcared inactive; an inactive student wishing to return to NHTI must apply for readmission and meet current entrance requirements for the program. See Inactive Status.

Readmission to the Allied Health programs is based on clinical site availability and the recommendation of the department. Contact the Department Head regarding the specific departmental readmission policy.
