Administration and Governance
The NHTI-Concord's Community College is a statewide, post-secondary educational facility established by the Legislature in 1961. It is a division of the Community College System of New Hampshire, which is directed by a Board of Trustees and a Commissioner (see http://www.ccsnh.edu/boardoftrustees.html), all of whom are appointed by the Governor of the State of New Hampshire and approved by the Governor's Executive Council. New Hampshire RSA 188-F (see http://www.gencourt.state.nh.us/rsa/html/NHTOC/NHTOC-XV-188-F.htm) describes the authority and responsibilities of the Board of Trustees, the Commissioner, and the college Presidents within the CCSNH. A complete set of all Board of Trustees' policies governing the Community College System of New Hampshire and its colleges, including NHTI, can be found at http://www.ccsnh.edu/boardpolicies.html.
